Netball Is The Love

Last night i was chatting with Crystal then she said she's worry about next year under 18 school team. Then i was like " Awwww, i don't have chance to play for school team anymore,no more inter-school competition for me.......but we'll go to give supports." Sobs. I really miss the time especially during the competitions and also the times in the bus,in the boat,in the airplane,in the hotel and also places where we'd went for shopping and meals. Everything will be in my mind forever! I started playing netball when i was in primary school in primary 4. Not much memories were in my mind, i just can remember that we played like kids and the rules were not so strict for the primary school competition. Then, i thought of giving up netball once i have entered secondary school because i need to concentrate in my study. Now, i think i was so stupid that time. How could we excel in studies without exercising/sports? Puan Yeo searched for all the tall tall girls and she also received a call from my primary school coach that I'd played before.

Well, the journey began........

I started playing for school team in kuching high since i was in form 2. That time i was still so new and young to the team. All the others like Julia, Hilda, Farah and Gao Mei were experienced players who had played for the school, division or state for several times. After knowing them not only played for the school team but also for division and state team then i told myself, i want to represent division and state too. So, i trained kinda hard in order to reach my target.

Some of them might think netball is a freaking bored and useless game. YOU ARE WRONG! I think netball is unique because it is only for girls. Haha. Well, there is this rule that every players must wear skirt for the competition,it is compulsory. Everytime when we wore our skirts before the competition started, we felt the power and confidence in us. We also worked out as a team. Everyone played their own role in a match, without one of them, we couldn't played well and won in the competitions.

I really missed the time we woke up freaking early in the morning and reached school when the sky was still dark and there were only a few people in the school. Then, we prepared ourselves and got into the bus. In the bus, we helped each other to tie up their hairs. Some of them had their breakfast in the bus. We also sang songs, played and had so much fun in the bus talking about nonsenses. But, we would be serious when we the time need/have to be. We discussed about strategies and all sorts of stuff which could helped us to win in a match. Of course there will be this Miss Lim who loves to nag and complaint a lot to us but we didn't mind her =) Without her, our team wouldn't be so disciplined and strong because she used to say something which would make us bersemangat. Thanks a lot for her guidances and cares.

Well, i think i have to stop here if not i will be saying non stop. Pauline and i agreed that we have so much things to talk about netball. We could talk non stop in the class when we were in form 3 and also the time she stayed in my place. Netballers out there would know why is that so, i believe there are a lot of things to say about especially about NETBALL. Well, i should zip my mouth now. Anyway, this would be the last post of the month because i think i have been neglecting my studies. Good luck to the PMR candidates in the exam next week. Freedom is approaching. *jealous

Netball, until the end of my life.
